Autumn Belle Encore Azalea – 3 Gallon Pot

I purchased the 3 gallon and it came wonderfully packed and ready to be planted. We have a blooming bush as I write. It was full of buds when I received. To be sure anything that is purchased on the net, especially live plants, is a crap shoot, Thanks for coming back to me, as time has this very bad habit of growing away from you in rather short order, and I wanted to thank you. I was exceedingly delighted with the condition of the plants and will have no second thoughts about recommending products that you sell on the internet. Some of the plants were in limited bloom and the color rendition was accurate; just the colors that I had envisioned.The three azaleas that we purchased, as described below, arrived in fantastic condition, a little dry (still in excellent turgor), but fixable with a water drench. It was about a week before we got them in the ground so we checked the plants daily and kept the well potted and trimmed plants in a shaded area until they were planted.Since I had contracted with a local guy, who has been doing this kind of work professionally for better than 35 years, to remove some rather large red tipped photonia and plant the azaleas in the same area. I thought it was amusing that the first thing he did was shake the plant and remarked that they were free of insects and the leaf color was brilliant. He may have seen other seller’s product who had sent their rooted plants differently.Nevertheless, he planted them and came back several days later to inspect and mulch them. Some of the plants were in bloom and the color rendition was accurate and just the colors that I had envisioned. This plant arrived in excellent condition. It is big and very full. When compared to a similar shrub purchased locally, it was at least twice as full. The plants arrived on time and in star 5 condition. Fortunately, my brother-in-law
is an astute gardener who planted all for me. They have not yet bloomed, but that’s OK.
