Fairytrail Bride features long trailing stems that are absolutely brimming with blooms in late spring reblooming though summer bringing a frilly, lacey look to the landscape. There are no limits to the ways you can use Fairytrail Bride in the garden – it’s ready to wow your neighbors in hanging baskets, containers, cascading over retaining walls, and filling in mixed beds!
Landscape & Garden Uses
Growing in a mounding and cascading form 4 feet tall and equally as wide, the Fairytrail Bride Hydrangea is ideal for use as a specimen, in groupings or as border in landscape beds and home foundation plantings. Perfect for use at the top of walls where its stems will cascade over the edge. Also excellent as a solo or combined with other plants in large containers or hanging baskets. A fine addition to Hydrangea gardens, white theme gardens, cut flower gardens and cottage gardens.
Suggested Spacing: 3 to 3.5 feet apart for solid hedges; 6 feet or more apart for space between plants
Growing Preferences
Fairytrail Bride Hydrangea is easy to grow in average, moist, well-drained soil. It can take the heat in the South. It will tolerate full sun however we think it performs and looks its best in locations that provides some filtered sun or shade in the hottest part of summer afternoons. For best flowering give it at least 6 hours of sun a day.
Note: Fairytrail Bride is a Hydrangea paniculata species that produces its flowers from buds that are formed on “new wood” (the current season’s growth). This means you don’t want to prune them in late spring or summer when they’re preparing to bloom.

I received my fairytrail bride hydrangea in zone 6a, 2 weeks ago, while it was in it’s dormancy. It was packed very well, with great instructions. I have been trying to buy it for awhile as it looks amazing. It is now already starting to sprout some green buds & I’m so excited to see it in its glory! Very happy so far!————————————————————We are so glad you are pleased and we hope you enjoy it for years to come! Thanks for the great review! 🙂 Beth Steele | WBG
My 5 stars is for the quality of the plant and shipping – this plant looked awesome, well branched, packaged perfectly! Can’t speak yet for how the plant will do – I am a “zone-pusher” for certain plants and I am at the top end of the zone (7a) recommended for this variety. I’m hopeful it will do well, but I knew it was a gamble! Fingers crossed for a successful over winter.———————————We are so glad you are pleased with your purchase! We hope it does well, I’m a Zone pusher too, hopefully all will be well! Thanks for the great review! Beth | WBG 🙂
