Description
This is the pom pom topiary version of the Sea Green Juniper, a fine textured evergreen conifer with pleasantly pine-scented, soft and feathery bright green new foliage transitioning to mint green. This topiary form might grow to 5 feet tall and 6 feet wide over time and is ideal for use as an eye-catching specimen in sunny landscape borders, home foundation plantings, rock gardens and other gardens. Its fine texture, unique color and resistance to blazing sun, cold (-30F), deer, drought, heat (to zone 9b), pollution, wind, salt, disease and insects make this super tough and handsome topiary a welcomed addition to almost any landscape in the United States.
Landscape & Garden Uses
The Sea Green Juniper Pom Pom Topiary is ideal for use as a specimen in the sunny landscape. Very nice as an accent or to accentuate an entryway in home foundation plantings or as a focal point in rock gardens. It is also well-suited for containers. A fine addition to conifer gardens, rock gardens, topiary gardens and Xeriscape gardens (low water needs).
Suggested Spacing: We suggest using as a focal point specimen or two to frame an entryway
Growing Preferences
The Sea Green Juniper Pom Pom Topiary is exceptionally easy to grow in most any well-drained soil of average fertility and full to mostly sun. We suggest at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. Exceptionally drought tolerant when established. As with so many other ornamental plants, constantly soggy or wet soil can cause root rot or other harmful plant diseases. Shear one or two times per year to maintain pom pom form.

I could not find this anywhere in my state (Michigan). I planted two a few years ago, one did fine, one didn’t, so I needed to try to make the one that’s still alive. The price was excellent, the delivery excellent, the customer service excellent. I had my doubts it would arrive in one piece. I was surprised when it did and it looks nice. Hope it survives.————————————————-We are so glad you are pleased and we hope you enjoy your purchase for years to come! Thanks for the great review! 🙂 Beth Steele | WBG
