Description
This is the dramatic spiral topiary form of the Wichita Blue Juniper, conifer with dazzling silver-blue, feathery, evergreen foliage that provides texture and eye-catching color and form in the landscape. Excellent for growing in the ground or in pots as a focal point specimen or to frame entryways.
Landscape & Garden Uses
The Spiral Witchita Blue Juniper Topiary is ideal for use as a focal point specimen or to accentuate entryways. A fine addition to topiary gardens, formal gardens, blue theme gardens, conifer gardens, Asian theme gardens and rock gardens.
Growing Preferences
Spiral Witchita Blue Juniper Topiary is easy to grow in most any moist but well-drained to dry soil when established, and full to mostly sun. Constantly soggy or wet soil is problematic. To maintain its spiral form, trim in spring and again in late summer if necessary. Feed plants growing in the ground in late winter or early spring with a slow-release ornamental plant fertilizer such as Ferti-Lome Tree & Shrub Food. Feed plants growing in containers with a slow-release granular or liquid plant food listed for use on ornamental shrubs or trees growing in pots.
