Please Note: Due to that Thyme plants are prone to suffer heat injury in summer while in transit in a shipping box, we do not ship them from June 1 to August 31. You can put your email on the Waiting List and you will be notified as soon as we put them back in stock.

Description
White Creeping Thyme forms a low and dense carpet of tiny, bright green rounded leaves that become smothered in abundant clusters of snow white flowers in summer. The 2 to 3 inch high foliage is aromatic when crushed. Excellent as a groundcover, between stepping stones, and around boulders.
Landscape & Garden Uses
Growing to only 2 to 3 inches tall and spreading to 18 inches or more wide, the White Creeping Thyme tolerates foot traffic well so is perfect for use to fill the gaps between stepping stones or as a groundcover or underplanting for shrubs, roses, perennials and small trees, such as Japanese maples. Very nice around and growing over boulders. Flowering bulbs will pop right through it in spring. Also serves nicely as a soil cover in container gardens grown above ground. A fine addition to white theme gardens, rock gardens and the Xeriscape (low water needs).
Suggested Spacing: 12 to 18 inches apart for mass planting; 10 to 12 inches to fill gaps between stepping stones

Cultural Preferences
When planted right and in the right spot, Creeping White Thyme is easy to grow. It grows best in a light, lightly moist but well-drained soil and full sun. A little shade is okay. Will tolerate rainy periods but constantly soggy or wet soil is a killer. So make sure to plant in a well-drained site.

I am very pleased with the plants I received from Wilson Bros Gardens. They were in good shape when I received them, and I have slowly introduced them to the outdoor sun. I should be planting them within a week!————————————–We are so glad you are pleased and we hope you enjoy them for years to come! Thanks for the great review! 🙂 Beth Steele | WBG
Thymus praecox ‘Albiflorus’ is a wonderful lawn. It is evergreen (all winter under now) and is sturdy to walk on – hardly any weeds – never needs mowing – water 5 minutes a week (after first year). – and it turns solid white in June.—————————————————————————-We are so glad you are pleased and we hope you enjoy them for years to come!
